Finca Bonita is located in Alto Lino in the lush and volcanic terrain of Boquete Panama. It has been owned and operated by the Miro family for 80 years. It is 36 hectares in size and sits at an altitude of between 1300 and 1500 MASL within the Boquete valley region. It features many rivers streams and even 2 waterfalls! This combined with the unique soil chemistry and micro climates makes it ideal for producing amazing coffees.
This Farm is a first for the Grounds Roastery. We were so impressed with this incredibly clean, wild fruit driven cup profile we had to feature it in our central line up this year! Although it is new to us, it is currently being managed by the Hartmann family who we have been working with for many years. Ratibor oversees the operation of Bonita springs and his daughter Yassie is in charge of production. This lot is a Caturra/Catuai mix. Cherries are meticulously picked, floated and sorted then laid out on African raised beds to dry to the ideal moisture content.
This will be roasted for both Espresso and Filter for a limited time and you like your fruit bombs, this is for you!
